Dennis Wright A.K.A.. Hellafactz - Born in Massachusetts, growing up in ova Scotia, and having travelled as far as Jamaica with his music as a sol act, Dennis Wright better known as Hellafactz, has used his lyrics as a tool to take him places a lot of emcee just read bout. “Hella” a term mostly used on the west coast meaning many, put in front of all the facts this kid has put into his music growing up just outside the city of Halifax is where he gets his stage name. His father, Cecil Wright, was a member of the local band “Worth The Weight” so Hellafactz was around music from an early age and experienced a large variety of sounds before he eventually started turning his poetry into raps in grade 6 with a friend, Ryan Somers, a.k.a. DJ R.S. Smooth (C100, CKDU) forming the group illville fam which over time has grown into a bigger movement with Husslez, Lamar Ashe and other artists from the community signing up to the team.

After travelling to the US for nearly 6 years setting up his own independent company Dennis returned to Halifax early 2007 and has been grinding getting his name and face out there every way possible.

Now at the age of 28 its been over a decade in the works and Hellafactz plays an active role in the Hip Hop community, having recorded over 150 original songs as a solo artist, juggling projects between his group act Heavy Spittaz, also doing the DJ thing under the alias DJ Black, and finally engineering at his own studio where not only does he work on making his own recordings but also helps other emcees from the area see their visions come to life.

Some of his biggest achievements are recording 2 songs with KRS ONE (2008), and recorded 2 songs with Boston legend Edo G (2006). Hellafactz feels his part in the Hip Hop community is as an activist making sure quality music is being recorded and says his goal is to see people have fun and smiles on their faces.
