Cyndi Cain, the Soulful Singer Songwriter, grew up in the church singing gospel at the age of 3 years old. She then later attended Sheridan College and studied Music Theatre. Cyndi is best known for her sultry and soulful sounding voice.
Cyndi has recorded with EMI with her single “You Got To Believe” on the 44 North 63 West East Coast Explosions in 1999 and was awarded the 2000 African Nova Scotia Music Award for Best R&B and has performed on the main stage for the ECMA in Newfoundland with Dutch Mason.
From 2002 to 2006 Cyndi lived and worked as an Entertainer singing Motown covers and performing Music Theatre show tunes for Club Med vacation resorts in Florida, Cancun Mexico and Punta Cana Dominican Republic. Since Cyndi’s return back to Halifax in 2006 she’s showing no signs of slowing down.
On Feb 01, 2008, Cyndi performed onstage with Michael Buble and Naturally 7. Cindy has made many performances on Atlantic Canada’s Drum Show in Sept/Oct 2007 and was featured solo artist in March 2008 Symphony Nova Scotia’s Motown show and brought the audience to their feet. Cyndi Cain is a Singer Songwriter and Entertainer.
She is a seasoned artist with a high level of experience in live music. Cyndi has a natural passion for original music and for her community her debut CD Essentially Cyndi has been released. Cyndi was nominated for two 2010 ANSMA awards.
